The POSITIVITY GAME Begins.......A positive attitude brings strength, energy and initiative.

The "Spread Positivity" Game begins. Starting today Think, Talk and Walk with a Positive attitude. Consciously, keep a track of the instances wherein you took the opportunity to act positively. At the end of the day share your brief stories at my Blog: http://www.letskeepinspiring.blogspot.com. Leave your comments everyday and at the end of 3 days I shall compile your stories and create a Learning for everyone.

  1. It is all in the mind. A Positive Mindset can get you where you aim to be. The trick is how to train the mind to think and act positive. Well I took the inspiration from the "Spread Positivity" game organized by Savleena and am working hard to "train" my mind towards Positivity. So far have been seemingly successful in one partciular instance that is worth sharing here........A confrontational meeting with a colleagues that was marred with Personal accusations, blame games etc. It was evident that I would be sucked into the useless discussion as well. I conciously "trained" my mind towards positivity, that let me think of options in front of me. The very fact that I was positive, i ended up not indulging in the meanlingless discussion and rather think of the real issues and alternatives.
So effectively, due to positivity I spared myself of thoughts of frustration and pain and instead better thoughts of how to focus and deliver.

More to come tommorow.........and hopefully the "training of the mind" becomes a regular feature for me and all of us.

  2. Being positive is the least v can do for ourselves...in todays day to day routine we forget what we can and have achieved thru our positivity..a small example that i wish to share..
I have come to visit my hometown with my kids ..n for the first time im alone with my kids without their dad..so this is the time when all that ive taught my kids come into action.when I left I was a little apprehensive how things would turn out and whether i will be able to handle the pressure of giving them a great stay without their dad.But i stayed in a very positive state of mind assuring myself n them that its gonna be great. I felt so proud to see them take care of each other so well..not only that they are understanding my needs also and taking care of me as well. They are showing the love and care they have for each other..they are feeling that their best pal is with them!!..as a mom i feel so so proud and satisfied. If my daughter gets hurt,my son doesnt wait for me to come and take care of her..shes already been taken care of.
Although a small instance but as a parent its really fulfilling to go through such phases..which can only happen with a positive attitude..am working towards it and hopefully will have more such experiences.

  3. Thank you Savleena, for starting this amazing blog. On a day, where negativity was reigning over positivity - I read your blog and am re-training my thoughts to think more positively! Thank you so much for this. :)

  4. Being surrounded with Positive energy and Positive People........This for sure helps a lot. I remember the "Halo" a lot of our Gurus are shown to possess around their head.....to me this is that these are "Blessed Souls" who are not possessed by any sort of negativity. All of us should possess the "Halo" eventually.

How to generate Positive Energy around you.......I have had this question for the longest time. I think the answer lies within myself i.e. my Thoughts. If I am to meet a person who I know has a Negative attitude, i will have negative pre conceived notions about this individual. So when I meet him/her I have already created a negative energy around me and this energy flows and creats an overall negative environment. Instead even if this individual is negative, i should have positive thought process and then I either neutralize or make the surroundings positive.

    Lets aim for the Halo.

  5. Everyday I live. I learn.
... And I conciously don't say HAVE learnt because life as we all know, is constantly springing surprises.
So, everyday we live. We learn - from some happy ... Some challenging & some moments we'd happily do without. : ) But hey! Since we don't get to choose ... our only SURE bet to combat any situation is OUR ATTITUDE.

The one thing that I HAVE learnt is - What I have today might all be gone tomorrow. To be replaced with more or less ... who knows.
But, MY attitude, I keep. Its my only REAL possession.

When I am happy... I AM HAPPY! : ) No trouble there!!
It's when I am down and out that I draw MY strength ...try and learn from people who have fought their battles and come out stronger. To never give up or give in & to have the RIGHT attitude.
'When you realize that by changing your perspective & attitude, big things can be seen as little things, it becomes much harder to worry about anything.'I remember reading this and conciously applying it to my self.
'For every setback, disappointment and heartbreak, I ask myself, "What does this create the opportunity for?"
And therein I find its gift.
    Everything has a reason.

Wear a smile & your best attitude to the week ahead! :)
    xx
