ADDING MORE TO LIFE



Gear up and add purpose and energy in your life. Our thoughts,emotions and actions make up our individual "customized" world.

Each one of us view  the world  differently and it all comes down to the thinking pattern we use in your daily life. If you think life is wonderful you will notice the wonderful things in your life, and if on the contrary you think life is horrible you will find bad things about life.

Consciously recognizing your thought process every moment of the day is very important. If you are happy and contented with the lifestyle you are having at present and want to make no further positive progress,then you don't need to apply these steps. 

If you have the urge inside to add more to your day and make positive  progress towards achieving a lifestyle worth enjoying,then these steps can be really helpful when applied.

The inner zeal to do  even better, keeps you going and helps you attract more opportunities and circumstances to make progress in whatever you are doing.

Small steps in everyday life that can help you to add more meaning to your life.


1. Understand the fact that self improvement is not required only if you are sad,suffering or unhappy with your present.

2. There is always a scope of adding more to your life only if you recognize the need and above all you are willing to do it.

3. Spending quality time alone is the key - understand yourself, your strengths and weaknesses.

4. Once you know the aspect you want to work on, formulate structured steps that can help you under the circumstances.

5. Understand that all individuals are different and their situations in life are different -Never Compare yourself to others.

6. Concentrate to make the best out of your set of conditions and resources.

7. Take charge of your life and yourself- don't ever look out for sympathy or attention from others.

8. Watch out for your thought process-immediately make efforts to change all the negative thoughts in positive ones.

9. Add purpose to each and every action of yours in a day.You should have a productivity chart for yourself and analyze it by the end of the day .

10. When you wrap up your day ,there should be contentment and happiness inside that you have utilized your time and day efficiently.

11. Every day brings in opportunities for us to shine and rise , so try to make the best out of it."Each day should be better than yesterday".

12. Don't be afraid of the judgements made by other people.You never know how would they react to the same situation for which they are judging you.Trust yourself and have faith in your good intentions.

13. LOVE LOVE LOVE Yourself!!!!!

14. Be willing to work on yourself-if you feel there is a need to add more to your life,just follow your instincts but never make decisions and choices according to the perceptions of others.

Empower Yourself to transform your life

It is wonderful to see individuals having clarity of what they want to achieve in this lifetime.The potential that we all have within, is understood by few and most of us spend our lives trying to figure out what all we can achieve.
 
Right from the childhood we are raised under different set of circumstances and beliefs.The beliefs that shapes up our personalities sometimes limit us to explore new things in life.
 
To empower yourself means to give yourself the authority and capabilities to achieve your  goals. You can literally transform your life by changing the way you think and feel about yourself.
 
Self-Empowerment, helps you to become creative and ultimately more fulfilled with your life. Believe,  that whatever you  can see in your mind is definitely good to be true. Why do you limit  yourselves?
 
Moreover self-empowerment is all about - acting with your heart and seeing beyond what you are accustomed to.
 
Many of us are wandering aimlessly, determining our abilities and potential based on the views of  people around us. We do not realize that we are giving them the power to decide whether we would be able to fulfill our dreams or not.
 
Empowering yourself requires a conscious effort with full awareness in the moment,where you decide to take control and be yourself.
 

You empower yourself for the transformation in your life when you learn to love yourself - "You are an amazing individual with a unique personality".
 
Don't fear of being judged by anyone, be the way you are- always remember people who are judging you are dealing with their own set of complexes and problems .
 
Believe and keep faith in what you are doing, your passion would add life and success to your work.
 
Every minute in your day counts- so make sure to use it constructively progressing towards your goal.You would have to consciously decide not to give in to the negativity around.
 
Use all the criticism or negative remarks productively- listen to them and take a moment to analyze as how it can be used towards your growth and progress.
 
Self improvement is a process we go throughout our lives and we should  strive to adapt to better things, if  we want to feel the change within.
 
Empower yourself  "As it is you who  can create yourself and your destiny".

RE-KINDLE YOUR MOTIVATION


A life full of progress and excitement is an ultimate goal we all aspire for. Each day we work towards achieving new heights and fulfilling our dreams.

Its an amazing feeling when we accomplish our goals one after the other, slowly but surely. Analyzing carefully what are your goals and desires, then having a constructive plan to move forward, would definitely take you towards fulfilling your goals and desires.
 
Sometimes it so happens that you are putting in lot of effort and hard work into everything you do but something somewhere seems to be not right. You realize that you are not getting the desired results and the energy around seems to be full of anxiety and unrest.
 
I have concluded that whenever we are going through this phase in life, we should re-focus and re-visit ourselves. Going by the human psychology, we all get inspired and motivated at the start of implementing the plans. There is a feeling of excitement, success and opportunity. With passage of time, while you work towards your goals, there are moments, people and feedback that is not that encouraging. All these factors sometimes demotivate you and then you start doubting your own potential.
 
Keeping in mind, that all individuals are different and they perceive life according to their own circumstances, it is not imperative that they share the same thought process as of your's. When you experience lack of motivation, things not working out according to your wish....this are the time to gather up your self esteem, believe in your potential and re-inspire yourself.
 
Few points you can ponder on when you are re-analyzing the situation:
 
1.  Are you doubting your potential and abilities just because of the comments and the behavior of other individuals?
 
2. Is it that you are emotionally dependent on someone's approval to move forward and pursue your goal?
 
3. Do you want things to work out at the blink of an eye and that is leading to frustration and anxiety?
 
4. Are you too much into thinking on how people are reacting to your progress?
 
5. Are you scared to leave your comfort zone?
 
I am sure there must be many more questions that cross our minds when we sit and think about the reasons, but surely these few I have mentioned above are going to help you out to find the root cause of the situation you are facing.
 
Steps that you might want to consider changing the situation and moving towards a result oriented approach:
 
1. Every moment when you feel negative thoughts are coming across your mind, immediately change it into positive thoughts. Force yourself to see that brighter side (there always is).With conscious practice it would be much easier.
 
2. Believe in yourself that you possess the potential within to accomplish what you can dream of. The fact is that whatever you think and do has limitless possibilities. So do not stop the "Thinking and Dreaming" followed by an action oriented approach.
 
3. Assure yourself that your ideas can be crazy for someone else but if you believe in those, The Universe has given you enough power to change it into reality and live your dreams.
 
4. Positive affirmations are so powerful. With every conscious step you take, tell yourself something positive about yourself.
 
5. Reading good books and literature can really empower you. Take out time to read good books and autobiographies. You never know what can show you the way that you have been asking the universe for.
 
6. Before you hit the bed remind yourself of your goals and then when you wake up, embrace what a beautiful day you have been blessed with for you to take steps towards the fulfillment of your dreams...every moment in a day counts!!!
 
7. Meditation and Visualization guides you through in your achieving your goals. Understanding and analyzing the facts about a situation can help us to rectify it and come out of it productively. Don’t give in to the negative energies around so easily.
 
Keep re-inspiring yourself periodically so that you can keep yourself motivated and full of positive energy.
 
Your actions governed by your thinking and energy you possess would determine how easily you can fulfill your goals.
 
Re-invent yourself - as you are indeed a special individual with a purpose!!!
 
Inspire and motivate individuals whenever you can, accomplish your dreams and help others to realize their purpose as well.

Focus and Faith

Each one of us has been blessed with so much energy that we have the capability to achieve whatever we set our minds on.

A beautiful quote by a Blessed Soul:

"God never takes time to build a Nobody. Everybody Universe creates is to be Somebody".  So "Be Somebody".
 
Often we are so busy sorting out challenges and issues due to which we go through lots of stress and pain and eventually we forget the purpose of our being and find our lives full of discontentment and worries. In a nutshell, we are so busy worrying about the "Thorns" that we don't see the "Roses" that are so beautiful.

The Energy provided to us by the universe is so powerful that we need to spend time on ourselves to evaluate our strengths and to identify our individual ultimate destination in this beautiful journey. Every individual has been blessed with the  power and energy to shape up their life the way  that they want to.
 
In this journey to "Be Somebody", every moment you spend consciously and with full awareness, will ultimately provide you the much sought after Bliss.
 
When you start making a conscious choice of  every single minute of your day, you can feel the inner happiness, contentment and immense bliss.There is magic in your words, your looks, your walk...as a matter of fact you are full of charisma, that reflects in you.
 
Definitely there are times when we find things are not going the way we want, that is the time when we have to make sure we are not loosing our "Focus and Faith".
 
Focus is an asset that every individual needs to have, to accomplish their goals. Act as the "Lion" who is out to hunt and then Focuses on a  Single Deer in a herd. The "Focus" enables the lion to zero in on the Aim whereas other Deer in the herd dim out. Then comes the Faith......the Faith that whatever I have zeroed in on will be achieved.
 
Don't bother spending time cribbing about the little setbacks in this journey....Live Life as you have never lived before, Spread your infectious warmth everywhere you go. Never compromise on your self esteem or cater to the feelings of inferiority. The Universe has given each one of us the "Power" to carve a niche in this lifetime. Take a moment to acknowledge and put your hands on to that. Recognize your strengths and empower yourself . Start working on the identified weaknesses to accomplish your aim.

ELIMINATING NEGATIVITY

Our emotions and actions are governed by our feelings . To progress and be happy we should surround ourselves with positivity. Most of the times practical implementation of Positive thoughts is not all that easy. A number of articles and books say that we should always surround ourselves with positive people and positive environment. When I applied this knowledge in my day to day life, I must admit that it does not seem practical. Then I came across a wonderful word "Awareness". Although I had read it a number of times I did not realize the potential strength of the meaning.

Understanding the meaning of the word "awareness" is so important because when we live every moment with full awareness then only we realise how are we responding to the situations in our daily routine.
 
To live positively and eliminate the negativity out of our system we have to work our mind continuously. As soon as we find ourselves carried away  with the flow of the events, not realising that negative thoughts have already started to dominate at that very moment, we need to take a break -  "Time alone". Sit back, relax and change your thought process with full Awareness. A renowned author once used the phrase "Turn on the Dial" that means always keep on reminding yourself to switch your thoughts to positive ones, and that too with full Awareness.

We can start practising this with meditation and periodically taking some time out for ourselves "Time Alone". Acknowledging  the fact, that we are going through negative emotions and feelings is the first step towards eliminating those thoughts. This is the First Step of Awareness. Next is to flush out these negative emotions and instead feed ourselves with positive affirmations and emotions. Each one of us goes through situations and problems at different stages of life, but the skills we master consciously and with full awareness, to counter these situations, help to live life in complete harmony.



When you are aware of the thoughts going in your mind, you can better take control of the situation and change the outcome. Taking control of your thoughts would not only help you to have a positive outlook but also let you see things with a wider perspective.
 
What we focus on, we empower and enlarge. "Good" multiplies when focused upon and "Negativity" multiplies when focused upon. The choice is ours: Which do we want more of?

Increment to Your Potential

I came across a wonderful statement by a well known individual and then made a conscious effort to implement this in my daily routine.
 
The statement is:
 
"Grow yourself and your potential everyday, bit by bit"
 
If you decide to implement this in your lives, I can assure that after few days of consistent and conscious practice you can see the positive difference you have made in your lives. Amazingly, we can apply this rule  in each and every aspect of our lives. Each one of us has the potential to set our minds on whatever we yearn to achieve with full awareness and then progress every moment. In the process we overcome the limitations set by our own mind.
 
Belief and Visualization are the integral part of the self improvement process. Now comes the point wherein you have to start working for yourself, decide and act. Make sure you put in a little more effort to do a bit more than you think you can do. By doing so, you not only make positive progress towards your goals, but also overcome the limitations that are set in our mind. You would be amazed to see the progress you will make with this practice.

Positive affirmations are so powerful in this process of Self Improvement. Start the practice of "Growing yourselves and your potential" and implement this in all situations you may encounter in a day. It doesn't matter whether its in your personal,social or professional  life.
 
Limits to the "Potential within" each individual are set by his/her own thoughts but definitely the thought process is influenced by the brought up and the values that have been given throughout his/her life.
 
Living each and every moment of your life with full passion and enjoyment is the key to happiness. Whatever you are filled up with inside you, that is what you radiate and give out to others.

EMBRACING THE CHANGE

The process of evolving yourself over the years, is a creative process that requires willingness and consious awareness.

For personal growth and self- improvement we need to evaluate what are our strong attributes and whar are the shortcomings we are facing in our lives at this present moment.

By being receptive and open to new ideas we have the possibility to tread different paths that can eventually lead to a better and fulfilled life. With  the passage of time, we tend to develop a comfort zone. This comfort zone or should I call it a "narrow minded" approach might not be that easy to break through. By limiting ourselves into this "comfort zone" we eventually limit the realm possibilities that exist that could lead to a fuilfilled life.

Personally, my challenge is to embrace the change that comes with something new in my life. I keep myself motivated and encouraged to embrace the change due to the realization that any change will actually help me eveolve as a person.

For some individuals embracing any change is very easy, they just go with the flow of life.  But for some, leaving the "mind restricted" comfort zone is not a smooth ride. Following the road to your dreams may take you through lots of emotional turmoil . You might come across the situations where you would revisit the choices and decisions you made in the past. With the attitude of "letting go" and strong belief that things are happening for your good helps you to embrace the change and evolve yourself as a successful individual.

During this journey there would be experiences that would leave good memories and some would teach you lessons for lifetime.

Making a concious choice to move forward towards a fulfilling life is a commitment that you make with your inner self and an individual should  keep moving towards it with positive self-talk and use of positive affirmations.

Take out time to talk to yourself everyday, understanding your desires deep inside and evolving yourself in this journey to enjoy life full of bliss and contentment.

Have you ever wished that someone could have written down the "rules of life", for a beautiful life full of happiness and love?

Well sometimes we all wish for .....isn't it?? There are no special or generalized rules to life, as we all go through different circumstances and phases in our journey. It is our outlook towards different situations that changes with time, giving us a better  understanding of our priorities  in life.I believe that a simple approach towards life is the key towards happiness. Always maintain the good values that you have been brought up with and keep focus on what you want out of life. That is the foundation of your character and a stepping stone towards a blessed life.

Every circumstance or situation you go through gives us a better understanding of "you" as an individual and makes you evolve as an better person.

It is said that "every cloud has a silver lining"....there are moments in our lives where everything seems to be perfect and there are some moments because of which we get our
"lifetime lessons". So everything we go through has a reason, its all in our mind how we are going to deal with that situation.

Always make a genuine effort to have a solution oriented approach towards life rather than problem oriented.As said by one author "if we look at a situation and focus on the solution to it, then make an action based strategy, half of the battle is already won".

On the other hand, if we continuously  focus on the problem then we are  doing nothing but putting all our energy to make it even more worse. It is all up to us how we see ourselves and how we want to enjoy every moment of being "Alive". Life is continuously providing us with new resources, new opportunities, it depends on us how to make the best out of it.

MIND CONDITIONING

It is amazing how we all are so occupied in our daily chores that we sometimes overlook the simple joys of life. There are times when the daily dose of inspiration comes from unexpected quarters. I am feeling so blessed as yesterday my kids were source of my motivation and inspiration. Both of them were trying to demonstrate an acrobatic activity and were very scared initially. It was amazing to see how they overcame fear and turned it into Motivation. Both of them would shout "Ahhhhhh" before the jump......the "Ahhhhhh" was supposed to get rid of the fear and then followed by the jump. It was a small jump, but with a Big lesson for me.

We unknowingly complicate things so much that we have totally forgotten the simple ways to enjoy our life, without stress. Before embarking on anything new and challenging there's a feeling of Fear that overpowers most of us that results in unfulfilled desires and dreams. Due to the feeling of fear of the unknown a lot of us refrain ourselves from embarking on new avenues that we have been yearning for a long time.

Take out the "ME TIME" for yourselves, then think about the feeling that held you back from doing something that you always wanted to do. Analyze the feeling and then consciously take steps to achieve what you have yearned for so long.

For my kids shouting out "Ahhhhh" helped them to overcome the inner fear and after what they achieved there was a expression of satisfaction and happiness. Its as simple as that.

Make a genuine effort to overcome your inner fears. These are the mental blocks that we have conditioned our minds through our years of growing up. We all need to take small steps towards breaking through these Inner Fears and notice the difference in our Self Being.

The key here is to be aware of your aim, risks and the inner fear. Conscious steps towards the Aim by overcoming fear will lead to success and eventual happiness and Bliss.

Everything we set our mind on, is achievable, we just need to be aware of the choices we are making. Feeling of "fear" is nothing but the limitations we have set for ourselves in our minds. Get motivated to overcome the fear and see what this beautiful Life has to offer you."

"You Are Unique"



I am sure all of us have read this phrase a lot of times. Somehow with  time, I think these words are making more sense to me.

Just ponder over it and see if you also think alike. I have realized that we all have been given life for a purpose. Journey to find that purpose and living life full of passion makes us go through different situations and experiences. Our attitude towards life and people around is defined by those situations and experiences. We all have different set of the circumstances, experiences and because of that every individual has different  attitude towards life.

"Uniqueness" of an individual is defined by various moments he /she goes through  during this journey. I have realized that each one of us has some dreams and desires to fulfill . In the process of recognizing our passion we go through negative and positive experiences. The defining moment in life (when we really look for it) comes when everything seems to be falling in place and you are able to visualise your life full of contentment and happiness. Then I feel that Universe starts unfolding all the cards of life one by one before you.

We as individuals should always try to focus our energy productively, recognizing what we really want from our life and work towards fulfilling it. The Universe then helps you in every possible way.

The time and efforts individuals spend in cultivating negative thoughts leads them nowhere but towards dissatisfaction and that attracts more and more of the same. Then all the feelings of jealousy and competition
come into picture.

Believe strongly that " YOU ARE UNIQUE" and that the Almighty has great plans  for you.

Identify the purpose of your life and work towards fulfilling it. Make a conscious effort to be glad when you see others taking long strides towards attaining their purpose in Life..

Facilitate ideas and resources to help others to reach their desired goals, without any bad intentions and feelings.

The Universe and the Almighty knows about your feelings and intentions, you would feel the positive changes happening for you as well.

Take the initiative to do this with full awareness and see the difference in your life. Small steps towards self improvement...............

LIFE SURROUNDED WITH POSITIVITY - SMALL STEP TOWARDS SELF IMPROVEMENT

Thanks to you all who posted comments for the "Spread Positivity Game". The idea was to take one small step towards Self Improvement and it has been wonderful experience for me for the last three days where I was consciously surrounded with happiness, contentment and positivity around me. Because of my awareness in the present moment the day unfolded before me as the way I wanted it to be. I strongly believe that you all were also surrounded with Positive Thoughts during the last 3 days, by reading and participating in the "Spread Positivity Game".

I hope whoever made an effort towards Positivity during these 3 days was able to make difference in their day and for others around them. Lets make a conscious decision to make it a habit and small steps towards self improvement would definitely lead us all to a happier and blessed future.

"SPREAD POSITIVITY"- MY EXPERIENCE

I am sure all of you would be going through the positive experience and making a change within yourselves. I have experienced quite a number of things during the day and have realised that controlling the thoughts is an art that we master through conscious awareness.

Well for me I have noticed that with conscious positive thought process there was happiness and contentment all around. We do come across negativity but, with our attitude we don't allow ourselves to sink in the worthless talks and decide  not to give importance those negative thoughts.

Yesterday, I experienced a similar situation wherein I really wanted to understand that even though we know that we have to be positive, then why do we let ourselves get sucked in negativity. I just want to share that when I was asking for an answer to this, I happened to speak to one of the blessed individuals (I must say) and she told me that with every negative thought we create disturbance in our body that leads to some or the other kind of ailments and when we allow our mind  to be ruled by negative thoughts ....we forget to "COUNT OUR BLESSING".

So I found my answer...I learnt that consciously spending each moment of our day with a positive attitude is very important to make our inner self happy and spread the positive charisma around.

Gratitude and Contentment  leads to Blissful life!!!!

THE “SPREAD POSITIVITY” GAME

Winston Churchill once said, "A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty." Positivity is a skill that can be learnt and honed over a period of time.

Let us play the “SPREAD POSITIVITY” game together and see the difference within and around us in 3 days time.

Over the next 3 days, consciously make an effort to think, talk and walk with positive attitude. The positive attitude can begin right at home in the morning, into your workplace, towards your family, kids, friends, coworkers and other daily interactions. Look at different situations during the day with a positive attitude and at the end of the day record these moments and how your positive attitude made a difference to you and others around you.

Below are few examples for better understanding:

1) Your kid is making a fuss and throwing a tantrum. How your positive attitude in dealing with the situation changed the overall environment around?

2) During the day you might come across situations, with your co-workers/family/friends wherein you have to deal with negative comments and negative people. How did you change the situation with positivity?

I am sure you would have many more experiences to share with everyone.


I believe that by starting off with something small and then making it a habit is a welcome change and would definitely work for most of us and nothing like doing it together.

"RISE AND SHINE"

These are the words my son phrased this morning and I was really admiring the thought process going on in his mind. The best thing I have read in most of the books is the importance of Gratitude in our lives and I have incorporated this in my life. At night before going to sleep and in the morning before getting out of bed try to recollect all the possible reasons you are grateful for, no matter how big or small.The basic aim is to thank God and the Universe for all the blessings we have in this lifetime to make our journey more meaningful and feel contented.
